The glass has now been installed around the rooftop garden and between the private balconies. Elsewhere on the site works has now commenced on the pile foundations that will form the base of the new build extension. The major excavation works in readiness for the Eco-Friendly water tank installation is complete. The tank is due for installation next week. Plastering of the top two floors in the front building is now complete. The show apartment continues to take shape with the restored coving now in place and the apartment has now received its first coat of paint. Work has also now commenced on the plant room that will house the state of the art 'air source heat system' that will service the development. Externally the roof terrace is now complete and water tight with the ground floor windows due to be installed this week. The internal staircases are now being installed in the rear duple apartments. These will be a main feature when the apartments are complete and are already giving real character to these units. Elsewhere modern patio doors have begun to be installed that will provide access to the private balconies.

The steelwork to raise the roof in the front building is now installed and the new roof is almost complete. Towards the rear of the site the existing flat roof has now been completely removed and the access platforms are now in place ready for the posi-joists that will support the rooftop garden to be installed. Interest across the site continues to grow with over 50% of the apartments now sold off plan.
Works are now back underway after the Christmas break and all scaffolding is now erected around the site. This has now enabled contractors to begin removing the existing roof in preparation for the installation of the new steel work. Towards the rear of the site exisiting trees have now been removed giving views across the car park.
Works have now commenced on The Sorting Office, which has already seen the demolition of the old left-hand extension allowing access to the site for demolition teams. Further into the build, this will be re-built in line with the existing building. Interest in the site is beginning to grow with 12 of the 31 apartments now sold off plan.
As the commencement of works draws nearer, final site meetings are underway to agree on final materials and designs in conjunction with the local authority to keep the building in keeping with the local area. Pre-launch has seen 6 of the apartments already reserved. Works due to commence late October 2017.
