Excitement continues to grow at Bishopgate Gardens as the Mast Climbers are now almost in place. Work has already begun removing the external facade of the offices ready for installation of the structural steel work. Once the cantilever sections are in place the contours of the building will begin to take real shape. Elsewhere on site work is ongoing with a sample installation of the external cladding and glazing so that interested parties can get and early look at how the completed façade will look. The internal rip out of the two blocks is now complete. Work has progressed at real pace as the internal walls have also been removed allowing for the installation of the new concrete floors throughout. Now all this is complete work has begun erecting the external 'Mast Climber's' that will provide the platform for the removal of the existing frontage and windows on the faces to receive the cantilever extension. Heaton Group have also recently taken some night time drone footage of the site to give an idea of its excellent City Centre location and great surroundings.
The site has now been secured with Heaton Group hoarding and the site office is also now in place. Works have now begun stripping out the internal fixtures and fittings of both towers ready for the installation of new floors throughout. February will see the release of the project for Sale, so please keep checking the website for sales particulars.
